Gensomnia Review: Crypto-Pay NSFW AI Generator

I've been testing NSFW AI generators for a while now, and almost every “Best of” list assumes you have a credit card that adult sites will accept. Gensomnia is the first one I've seen that openly skips that assumption — it's a crypto + Telegram Stars product for users whose region or bank blocks the normal flow.
The Short Answer
Gensomnia is a preset-driven NSFW AI image generator: pick a character from a library of 89, apply pose + clothes + location + style, hit Generate. The UI is fast, the loop is tight, and the only paid options are crypto and Telegram Stars. No Stripe, no Apple Pay, no card-on-file. That payment choice is the entire point of the product — everything else is solid but not unique.
Who Gensomnia Is Actually For
Two distinct audiences end up at this product:
- Region-blocked — you're in India, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil, Turkey, MENA, or one of the other countries where Stripe quietly refuses adult-AI purchases or card issuers decline. You want to actually pay; the checkout side is what's broken.
- Privacy-conscious — you don't want an adult AI line item on your card statement, you prefer the privacy posture of crypto, or you already live in Telegram and Stars feels frictionless.
If neither of those is you, our review of the top 5 NSFW AI art generators covers the card-payment-friendly options. Gensomnia is not trying to compete on feature breadth — it's trying to be the answer when checkout is the actual blocker.
Walking Through the Generate Page
The /generate page is single-screen and intentionally narrow. Top to bottom: a circular upload/select-character button, a Preset/Advanced tab pair, then four large preset cards — Pose, Clothes, Location, Style. A live Preview box below those shows how your prompt looks before you commit a generation. A persistent “Generate” button sits pinned at the bottom with a Stars cost badge.

Real talk — this is the cleanest preset flow I've seen in the category. Most competitors either overload you with 30 sliders or hide everything behind a chat prompt. Four big preset categories + the Advanced text mode is the right shape.
| Feature | Gensomnia | GoLove.ai | Stable Diffusion (local) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Payment | Crypto + Telegram Stars | Stripe / Apple Pay (cards) | N/A (local install) |
| Character presets | 89 library + upload | ~300 + custom creator | Manual LoRA per character |
| Pose presets | 20 with usage counters | 34 + custom prompt | Prompt / ControlNet |
| Setup time | ~15 seconds | ~15 seconds | ~6 hours |
| Chat / companion mode | No | Yes (voice + photo + video) | No (image-only) |
The Character Library: 89 Picks
Tapping the upload button opens a character modal: 89 presets organized across All, Games, Anime, Cartoon, Comics, TV, and Vocaloid tabs. The Games tab is the biggest, and the recognisable archetypes from the major franchises dominate. You can also “Random” any choice or upload a reference image.

One honest caveat — the library leans heavily on famous IP-derived archetypes. That's a creative call Gensomnia made on their side and you should read it however your local trademark/IP comfort level wants you to read it. I'm flagging it because it's a real difference from GoLove's catalogue, which is all original characters built in-house.
Pose, Clothes, Location, Style
Tapping any of the four preset cards opens a modal grid. Pose has 20 options, each with a live usage counter so you can see which presets the community actually picks. The top four during my testing: Blowjob (24.5k uses), Doggy Style (22.3k), Cowgirl (20.1k), Missionary (18.7k).

Clothes, Location, and Style follow the same modal grid pattern. The Advanced tab swaps the four presets for a 280-character prompt box with a Suggest button that drafts a prompt for the selected character. Useful if you want to describe something the preset grid doesn't cover.
Pricing: Stars and Crypto Specifics
Free tier gets you a daily generation allowance. Beyond that there are two paid rails: Telegram Stars, purchased inside Telegram and spent directly in Gensomnia, and direct crypto top-ups. The Stars rate is Telegram's standard one ($0.013 / Star at the time of testing), and generation costs were 2 Stars per image in my account — so roughly 2.6 cents per generation.
Crypto top-up is where it gets interesting for sanctioned regions: Bitcoin and USDT both worked from a test wallet, settlement was roughly 10–30 minutes for BTC and under a minute for USDT TRC-20. No KYC at the payment step.
This is also where Gensomnia is honestly weaker than card-pay alternatives for users with a working card — both crypto setup and TG Stars purchase have more steps than just typing a card number. If checkout is not your blocker, you're paying a friction tax for no reason.
If You Have a Card, There's a Better Option
For card users in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, or Japan — GoLove.ai's image generator is the better default. Same network, 50% revshare on our end, but Stripe + Apple Pay checkout that takes seconds, plus a full companion product (voice calls, in-chat photos, video generation) wrapped around the image generator. Gensomnia doesn't try to compete on that — it's a focused image tool.
The honest characters to start with on GoLove if you go that route:
GoLove Picks for Card-Pay Users
Tap any character to start a chat — Stripe / Apple Pay checkout
For everyone else — where your card just doesn't work for adult AI — Gensomnia is the actual solution. Stop trying to make a declined transaction succeed and switch rails.
My Verdict After Two Weeks
Gensomnia gets a clean recommendation for the audience it's built for: anyone whose card or region blocks the mainstream NSFW checkout. The UI is fast, presets are well-shaped, the pose usage counters are useful editorial info, and crypto/Stars rails are operational rather than promised-then-broken.
It is not a GoLove replacement. If you have a working card and want the full AI-companion stack (chat that remembers context, live voice calls, photos arriving inline in conversation, photo-to- video on tap) — GoLove does all of that and Gensomnia does none of it. Different products, different audiences.
Honest limitations: 89 characters is a smaller library than the category leaders, the IP-derived archetypes are the standard creative-call asterisk for the segment, and there's no chat or companion layer. If you came for an image generator with non-card payment, Gensomnia delivers. If you came for anything else, look elsewhere first.
Card Declined? Switch Rails.
Crypto and Telegram Stars work where Stripe doesn't. 89 character presets, 20 poses, generation in ~15 seconds.
